with line concatenation and you could forget to add a, between the variable names of one line and the next. There are some things you might need to change for a build to work, eg in VFP6 it was possible to write some lengthy variable declaration LOCAL. While it's certainly causing less problems to open a VFP6 project in VFP6, VFP9 is capable to open/read and work on a VFP6 project, the only downside may, you then make the PJX/PJT incompatible with VFP6, also working on project files they might get a little update, as structures changed a bit, but not very much, eg you now have tha anchor property and by opening and saving a form(class) you can cause trouble in VFP6, not knowing that property.īut if you work on a copy of the project, that should just be fine.
